I hate it too. Can't seem to disable it. There are a lot of dipshit defaults in these ProBoards templates. I've been able to disable karma ratings, birthday announcements and a load of other Jr. high school stuff, but the burning envelopes are here to stay unless there is some lurker expert out there who could clue me in on the secrets of Pro-boards.
