Canada - February-December, 1960 Buck Owens - Above and Beyond www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MWdTw5Dl9wPaul Anka - Adam and Eve (fourth song in, not that I recommend lasting that long . . .) www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zpN_E-qr0gAudio only: The Beau-Marks - Clap Your Hands www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-XvL4jCZ-4The Platters - Sleepy Lagoon www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWLPek-YtzADon Gibson - Just One Time www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gzqa24XoXwJames Booker - Gonzo www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7FXDnlf9kQRick Nelson - Yes Sir, That's My Baby www.youtube.com/watch?v=awTduwj8A9ABilly Vaughn - Look For a Star www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEUI4vT-D80Neil Sedaka - You Mean Everything To Me www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmfOVweYD60Pat Boone - Words www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdeZCVD70egThere's actually a little Canadian content in this group, thanks to the Beau-Marks (well, Paul Anka too, but that's not exactly something to brag about). Sadly, I couldn't find the Beau-Marks' follow-up to Clap Your Hands, Billy, Billy Went a-Walking. But of all the Canada-only hits Youtube doesn't have (which is most of them, though it's probably not that earthshaking a loss), the one I'm most curious about is Ronnie Hawkins' The Ballad of Caryl Chessman. God knows what that sounded like . . .

Andy Stewart - Donald, Where's Your Troosers?
That's gonna be my song of the day (just for today).

Well, if I were a betting man, I'd have put money on you going for the Al Jolson blackface number, but the kilt song is a worthy song for today (just today). At least you didn't go for the the teenage Italian tenor.
I'd actually heard the Trooser song before, because a band I liked in the 80s called The Men They Couldn't Hang used to sing it. Their version sounded kind of different though . . .
