Fuck me hard...I was trying to avoid concerts for at least a year after those crappy boby shows I saw last year. But boby is playing the beautiful Chicago Theatre. In my top 5 venues to see a show (not that i've been everywhere). This place has a full bar on every floor.
Shakes his fist at boby! Curse you old man!
P.S. Somebody please talk some sense into me and tell me to stay away....Help Mr. Wizard

Just keep saying to yourself 'full bar every floor'.

don't know if anybody's picked up on this but boby plays an historic venue tonight: www.ryman.com/some big names have walked those boards: caruso, w c fields, harpo marx, hank williams, dale evans (check out the full list at the site). here's a cool youtube (great quality for some reason) of boby at the same venue in 1994: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_f8n9rJi1o

How historic can it be if oasis played there last year? (And yes, I thought about going at one point.)

great find bart, that's just the sort of original boby stuff i was alluding to in the thread subject title.
funny fact. bunbury, or bunburying was a concept invented by oscar wilde in his oeuvre, the importance of being earnest. a play on words: bum burying... get it burying something in a bum?
quite apt when applied to boby, i'd say.
