hey there Owey; just when I forgot about our man, new vid of Rory's masterpiece shows up on youtube! probably the wildest version I'd seen or heard from him (and I used to download his bootlegs only for this song, which made me bought the mandolin in the first place); I'm not sure with how many strings left he finished the song, but looks like it was completely out of tune at the end of it... ...it's great being Oirishwww.youtube.com/watch?v=saDKqE6Qr8U

thanx for the Tattoo'd Lady link, looking forward to check it out, especially since it is from Dublin's national stadium.

Wow. I assumed you knew about that, but I guess there aren't a whole lot of Mexican songs that are well known in Europe. If you've ever heard any Mexican music, you've heard that song. It's pretty well known.
Nice clip, by the way. That Pedro Infante's a real smoothie.

It's not like Tower Records used to call you up when something cool came out, heh heh.
Amazon seems to actually care.

"It's not like Tower Records used to call you up when something cool came out, heh heh."
and it's not like tower records had everything that amazon has, either. get used to the fact that you can't pick up the album covers (it went shit when cds came out anyway) and learn to love the future.
