Little known fact: your boy SK's first live show ever was Mr. Chubward Checker at Ontario Place, Toronto in 1986. It was fab!
(I think. I was more mesmerized by the sounds coming from the blue jays game across the street at exhibition place. "Now batting for the blue jays, the right fielder, number 29...Jesse Barfield!")

Hopefully this year will be as good as better than last year. (even though we're all gonna die...)

Not sure where to put this, but it's sort of boby-related....
Saw Levon Helm and his band (including ol' larry campbell) the other night. Levon's in rough shape. Only sang on ophelia and a verse of the weight, but saying he 'sang' is a bit of a misnomer...croaked, more like it. Shame to see one of rock's great voices silenced.

I got the Noel edited Mojo mag.....totally Cripes-approved. Cool guy. Just got that last night. My two favourite quotes: "anyone who doesn't like the beatles is an idiot." And: "the world can be divided into two camps: those that like Neil Young, and those that don't. And those that don't are fucking idiots." Amen.

Nice one, nick. I'll pop that on during the drive down to see the old man on tuesday night. Maybe bob'll get the idea and play blue monday again.
(assistant whispers in SK's ear...)
Yes, I know they're two different songs. Shut up.

So I saw Paulie twice this week. Splendid as always, AND he did 'things we said today' for me, which is nice.

Tomorrow morning: Manchester City Football Club v. Stoke. Either everything will change....or only most things will have changed. I desperately want us to win a trophy, obviously, but a) qualifying for the champions league and b) beating united at wembley are the biggest things to happen to me (along with the comeback v. gills at wembley in 99) since I've been a fan. The last month or so has been hard to comprehend. Hopefully tomorrow is the cherry on top of the sundae. But...nothing will top the final whistle at wembley on april 16th, 2011.

The "we're in a champions league position regardless" is significant, too.

You did LenBru, you did. Football is a touchy subject and I'd rather you didn't mention it when SRK is around Football, you say? Which one? This: Or this? 1 Man Utd 21 24 45 2 Man City 23 18 45 3 Arsenal 22 23 43 4 Chelsea 22 19 38 Because either way....football's awesome!
