hey, remember that Al-Qaeda guy from your hometown who wanted to meet you to discuss certain unpleasant things? LOL, LOL! Being invisible was kewl, but also quite healthy in those days.

"Why are you so pissed off at invisible stuff Fingie?"
I'm not really, I just think it's quite silly; I was a mod at 2 Proboards msgboards, of course as a mod you can actually see who are the invisible ones, but even the members can figure it out by seeing the person, whose name is not down there with the other members online, post at that very moment.
sometimes it's handy of course, which can be confirmed by dino, where on one Forum both of us used it to avoid stalking dorks, but it's kinda silly in a small place like this where we all know each other, and where there are only 2 invisible users - you and nick.
not the end of the world, of course, but still... silly. cheers.

yeah, finally something worthy, instead of 947 Youtube links for apocalypsosinger-like covers.

"Some cool guy should dig an mp3 of this up." "no luck with the original but here's a version in english" I usually never open this thread (I don't even listen to Dylan anymore, let alone covers), but today you're in luck -- Marlene Dietrich - Die Antwort Weiß Ganz Allein Der Wind: www.sendspace.com/file/pxvuzs

Irish time now - a rare boby cover from rory, not really great, but who cares? it's rory. doing boby. last pro footage of the great paddy, he's in his "fat elvis" phase, 20 october 1994 France, couple of months before his poor liver said "enough" for good. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUbY6L_UMJcthere's also another boby cover from Germany 1992, but it's like 10 mins long.

I was thinking of posting that pic (several, actually) of poor Sharon in 1969, but it's too much really... instead, here's good ol' Pier Paolo, the way police found him on the morning of 2 november 1975:

that's right, nick.
and without even looking I can tell that Groucho you've mentioned died couple of months earlier in that same year, 30 years ago.
actually, we lost quite a few cool guys in that year, all in the same period (late summer), we couldn't post anything couple of months before as it was that vacuum when the Pool was down and Cripesboard still in the making.
in august '77 only - El went, then Groucho, then the late great archbishop Makarios, so dear to us Orthodox folks (and not so dear to the moronic turks); september '77 was Mark Bolan's month, etc.
