hillary's last minute appeal for votes before tomorrow's new hampshire primary: "Like, has nobody noticed? The guy is a fucking nigger!"

i love the american system. if you have a weakness you get ripped to shreds. the way it should be everywhere.
don't you just feel great watching hillary weeping for the journos cos she thinks it'll win a few votes but you know she's gonna get her ass whipped anyway?

I have to admit, Obama got to me. I haven't been that impressed by a politician in ages. Not since Coach Brown in the great election of 'ought four....
(Was it Brown, blair? I can't remember, in the hazy mists of time.)

Coach Kane I believe.
Fucking Iowa.
Great idea. Let a bunch of fucking Buddy Holly killers decide who's gonna be president.

it would be very very cool to have a young black president but i can't see it happening. the dems are thick enough to choose an loser candidate but they could still pull their socks up and swap hillary for al. al would win against anybody the repubs came up with. obama would lose to just about any white guy. if somebody doesn't shoot him first , of course.

just read in the nyt that all the mainstream black cinema personalities (spike lee, the others...) have come out en masse for hillary after the iowa debacle. i guess they all feel that obama makes them look white, right?

The only problem with Al coming out, is he might as well come out of his Republican closet at the same time. If that cunt ran I'd stay home again he makes me ill. Of course I'm a far lefty all the way, and will vote Kucinich in the primary, even though I'll vote for the 1/2 white guy in the big dance.
So which animal is going to come out of Reagan's ass this time? I just can't get a line on who has the odds...Too bad HST isn't around to give us the lowdown on that beast.

mccain is the only guy the repubs have. problem is he's 71.
what happens if a presidential candidate is killed during the campaign? does the vice presidential candidate take over?

That hasn't been really tested Nick. Bobby K. was shot before the convention, so that doesn't count. I would assume the Dems would huddle together and pick one. Probably the guy/Hillary with the next most primary delegates and hope for the best.
McCain can't win...So I'm hoping he gets the nod. That old man still believes in the war. American polls show otherwise.

That's probably what Gore wants. "I won't run, but if you tell me you really really really want me after the convention, I guess my arm could be twisted."

Does anyone here actually know anyone from New Hampshire?
Once again I see a load of non entities deciding for America.

Hillary's strategy was to raise a ton of money and scare off all the other Dems so she could get the nomination without a fight and then hope that enough Americans would hate the Republicans so much that they'd be willing to hold their noses and vote for her. As soon as Obama made a fight of it, she was finished. And her crying in public won't help. If she cries because she's losing a primary, how is she going to react when terrorists blow up California? At this point, her campaign is a sick animal staggering around and waiting to be put out of its misery.
Unless he self-destructs, turns out to be a crook or somebody shoots him (all possible), Obama will have the nomination wrapped up by February 5. If he gets shot after he's nominated, the Democratic National Committee will meet and pick . . . maybe Hillary, maybe Gore.
As for the Republicans, I kind of hope the guy who doesn't believe in evolution or the income tax gets the nomination, for the comedy value. But I disagree with Zilla here. Where just about any Republican could beat Hillary, I think McCain is the only Republican who could beat Obama. Americans aren't anti-war at all, they're anti-losing. If McCain can convince them that somebody who knows what he's doing could kick ass in Iraq, he could win. Luckily for the Dems, the Republican establishment and the wacko Christians hate McCain, so he probably won't be the nominee.

I'm secretly hoping that the republicans 4 front-runners differing strategies leads to no one having enough delegates to win the nomination, forcing a brokered convention, leading to the renomination of Ronald Reagan's corpse. That'd rule.
