living doll and little white bull were both written by lionel bart. he wrote the musical oliver. he also wrote do you mind for anthony newley. bart was part of the london gay scene in the 50s and 60s. you can link just about everybody to him.

The song is called Louise and was written by Paul Siebel. The best known version of it (as far as I know) was recorded by Linda Ronstadt for her Silk Purse album.
