Great find with the complete Louis Jordan clip digit--not only had I never seen him in color or from that era (had to be late sixties/early seventies--what a cool show...I guess it came out of Nashville) but I'd never seen him interviewed, however brief. Great stuff. The fat kid wants to say something: I just wanted to stop in and say "thanks" for the R&B stuff nicky & conky! This is the music that speaks to me. ....Rose, Rose, I love you, with your almond eyes......

excellent call. sister "the swinging nun" rosetta tharpe, aretha and tina both started out singing in church, little richard of course but also jerry lee, elvis's third album was gospel...
and rock and roll is full of religion, in fact it almost is a religion in itself: three steps to heaven... hail hail rock and roll... i'm just a victim of rock and roll...
