the first album was great (even tho it didn't sound anywhere near as good as the pistols stuff at full volume on a good hi fi). standout tracks:
white riot janie jones i'm so bored with the usa career opportunities
second album only one good song: tommy gun
third album (double) only one good song: jimmy jazz
4th album (triple, you're pulling my leg, right?). not even one good song.
1980. stopped buying the albums but listened to the early stuff for another couple of years. haven't had the urge to listen again for the last 25 years.

after paying a fortune for sandinista (three albums of total garbage) i didn't feel moved to invest in any of their future product. no other tunes filtered their way into my head through the radio medium.

Dude, holy crap, man, Sandinsta! is the BOMB, it's the White Album for the (old) future! Most people say, "yeah, it coulda been a good single", me, I say, 'when's the 6 disc box version coming out?' It's like they smoked a joint, but still wanted to punch somebody in the face. Tweaking those knobs and kicking ass, Call-up, Washington Bullets, Charlie Don't Surf, Version City, Probably top 10 in my Pantheon of Musical Greatness .
First record comes in second, I only ever had the UK version, but the White Man single, so it was cool.

come on manho - white man is great and as far as i know wasnt on their early albums (in the UK). same for complete control.
if you just listened to the beatles albums you would be missing out on a great deal - arguably their best work actually.

looks like big mac has kicked hucksterbee's useless homophobic fundamentalist ass in south carolina. way to go, man. if i were on mac's team i'd be pushing the age thing as a plus. cuddle up to gramps in these difficult times. it could just work.
campaign song: this old man.

As a Dem I'd rather be going against the Huckster. I think anyone can expose how dumb he really is. Just take a look about when he was afraid of getting aids from kissing, when science had already proven otherwise. He still hung onto his dumb remarks.

Tommy Gun used to be my favorite Clash song. Id say London Calling has a few good songs.

I was watching the Democrat's debate and the term 'ain't got no hat size' occurred to me as I was watching Obama.
Now it's driving me nuts where that phrase came from. Something like 'this town ain't got no hat size no how'.
Any help?
As always, thanks in advance fuckers.
