It is.
Now, I wonder why it's an outtake, hmmm...
oh btw, lot of people saw Jimi sitting at the side of the stage during the show - but did they invite him for a jam? Nope. They got Stevie instead.
Would've been the coolest part of the film. Mick - thicko.

"The Who though, who naturally upstaged them - that's why we first saw the film, what, 25 years later?"
the who did upstage them and so did lennon but that's not why the show was never shown. the reason was that apart from the who and lennon (and a couple of other guests) the show was a pile of absolute shite. circus theme? boring fucking fire eater crap and mick as ringleader (you have to laff, right?).
total shite concept. so embarrassing that even mick probably realised.

"Mick - thicko."
But then again, that clip of him watching the killing and then again repeating it in slow-mo, thus showing the tragedy twice... nice trick. hmmm... maybe not so thick.

thanx for that, dino. however, cat stevens' list is a bit different. 5 random last fotos of the kewl guyz:Frederic Chopin in 1849, the year he died: E. A. Poe in 1849, the year he died: Jimi Hendrix, London 17 september 1970, couple of hours before he snuffed it: (more from that session here: www.wtv-zone.com/ruexperienced/LastPhotos/LastPhotos.html ) Petar II Petrovic Njegos (1813-1851) - quite possibly the greatest Serb from Montenegro; writer, poet, orthodox bishop and ruling prince of Montenegro. It is the only existing photo of the man, taken in may 1851 in Italy where he came to recover from his poor health; sadly he died from tuberculosis that october. When someone says 'Oscar Wilde', your first thought is of the witty, charismatic, cigar in hand, nice looking Irish fella, right? Check this out, there aren't too many photos of Oscar after he left the prison; this one was taken in Rome:

Davy Graham has died. Here's a vid of a 19 year old Davey, from Ken Russell's 1959 BBC documentary: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWeejHJxGjsSurely that's Pagey's famous ballad intro riff right there, 20 - 27 sec?
