i think that was pretty cool on Bob's part - what a fucking racket though eh? Haven't we had enough of bands with guys in suits, with beards and CAT caps? We appear to be entering our second decade of this shit with no respite

You did LenBru, you did.
Football is a touchy subject and I'd rather you didn't mention it when SRK is around

yup, made better films than they read as books though. Still, an important figure in post-war Britain

Yeah, I must confess I really like the overdubbed that makes it tough (the one that sounds like it could be on Blonde on Blonde)
It's such a pleasure listening to all this - both he and Sam Cooke have been really ill-served by basic Pop History 101 - they get respectful footnotes when they were obviously bona fide originals, geniuses and phenomenons (Buddy even more than Sam)
(I am currently loving the slow Slippin and Slidin)
EDITED TO ADD: I like that Blind Faith version of Well Alright a lot

that's quite a cast Obi Wan Kenobi, the fourth best James Bond and The Ugly guy from The Good, the Bad and The Ugly. Tim Hutton's good too.
Maybe Roman Polanski didn't do a badness after all

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/8449430.stmJesus was obviously otherwise engaged when this SPECTACULAR political story took place in Northern Ireland concerning their First Family. This is a jaw-droppingly amazing story - it has everything, sex, religious hypocrisy, financial and political corruption couldn't think of a better thread for this - she reckons Gay people are an abomination so she is a total twat

Sure, Bono has no real competition in being a fucko - just pointing out that boby's taste is pretty crappy and, sure enough, he thinks Bono is the coolest. In his book, it reads like he's really trying to impress him
"Dear Diary. OMG!!! i can't believe the 27 year old Bono wants to hang out with me? People think he's, like, a gnarly fucko but, I just think he is soooooo cooooool I'm drinking his Guinness and hoping he thinks I am cool (I hope he doesn't see me looking at him?) LOL!!!!"
Bob Dylan, bone fide genius artist, aged 46 and 3/4.
